I am pretty sure John Mayer sums up my love/hate relationship with fall. Mr. Mayer coos "when autumn comes, it doesn't ask. It just walks in, where it left you last. And you never know, when it starts until there's fog inside the glass around your summer heart." Well lately as the sun has been setting at a different angle and a cooler breeze has been hitting me on my walks to class, I realized that summer is over. So I have decided to not spend my days thinking about how I wish summer would have lasted longer, I have decided to write a list of things in fall right now that I am looking forward to or that I am loving. So here it goes...
Things am looking forward to:
The new Fall TV Shows: I am already hooked on Gossip Girl and I am looking forward to checking out Private Practice. I am not sure how I am going to do that since they are on at the same time, but I am sure I will figure something out. Plus I can't wait for the return of Ugly Betty and of course Brothers and Sisters.
V-Neck Cardigan Sweaters: As the weather gets cooler I for one can't wait to start wearing some v-neck cardigan sweaters. I have seen some really cute ones on celebs and I can't wait to try out the trend myself.
Paparazzi Pics of Rachel Bilson, Jessica Alba or Mk&A dressed for fall: I have to say I am ready to see my fave celebs in fall clothing rather than bikinis and short shorts. Bring on the sweaters, scarves, and cute boots.
Pumpkins/ Halloween: I have always been a fan of carving pumpkins and dressing up. I am trying to figure out what to go as this year. If you have any good suggestions let me know.
Things I currently am in love with:
Ingrid Michaelson: I heard her song a while back on Grey's Anatomy and purchased some more of her songs. Her voice is amazing and her lyrics are even better. Plus she is featured on the new Old Navy advertisements. Check out her myspace! She is adorable.
The photo booth on Macs: One of the girls on my tennis team was showing me the photo booth features on i-macs where you can distort pictures of yourself and add so many features. We spend so much time taking funny pictures and laughing our heads off. It was great!
Starbucks Apple Cider: Drinking warm apple cider gets me in the fall spirit.

Hey girlie, is that profile pic of you? Just curious. Aw, I'm so glad to read a post like this! Those are some amazing lyrics you quoted from JM. He describes it so well. Admittedly, Fall may be one of my favorite seasons b/c the weather is a bit cooler and you get to wear snuggly clothes
But I feel like it comes and goes too fast and blends too well into winter!
Anyway, what I'm looking forward to is the fall shows and the end of the year movies. Fall shows, I loved 'Chuck' and hope that the rest of the season will be good, will check out 'Gossip Girls', 'Reaper', and maybe some others, but will continue following 'Ugly Betty', 'House', and 'Heroes.' Thank goodness for DVR!
Movies, looking forward to the new Clooney movie, and others that I can't remember right now
I love fashion, and am really excited to see what new trends I may or may not pick up on. Either way, it's nice to see fall/winter looks.
